Yes, this was the Lionesses — England’s women’s football team — and their supporters (men included) celebrating their success in again becoming Women’s Football Champions of Europe.
A WELCOME splash of colour on our TV screens... a red and white blur in the Mall, in London, of waving flags of St George...dozens of attractive girls...a welcome respite from the horrors of Gaza.
Yes, this was the Lionesses - England's women's football team and their supporters (men included) celebrating their success in again becoming Women's Football Champions of Europe. Well done, gals! Astonishing skills development in recent years! 'Twas most cheering! An observation: The Lionesses are considerably easier on the eye than male rugby players. And much better spoken.
Who cares? A PHOTO comes this way of three little kids, one of them wearing a blue shirt and long pants in a weird pattern of red, white, and black.
