IDEOLOGICAL strategy is the answer to the question posed by a private security firm as to who is behind the new gun regulatory proposals regarding private firearm usage (The Mercury, April 4).

One of the key objectives of those who seek to establish a Marxist society is disarmament of the civilian population. It is part of a nine-point roadmap provided by Saul Alinsky in his two books, Reveille for Radicals and Rules for Radicals, which Marxists and their globalist ilk are following in establishing Orwellian totalitarianism. The other eight objectives involve state control of health, welfare, property, education and religion while promoting class warfare, economic impoverishment and debt.
