When scrolling on your phone goes way too far

YOU'LL probably have seen the story about the woman in Ireland who died after being electrocuted by her (charging) mobile phone, in the bath.
It's an awful thing to occur, really sad.
And I was truly shocked that it could happen.
So I started reading up on similar cases.
I fell down an online rabbit hole, to be honest.
Each story was so sad, but really similar.
Extension cords used to plug into the mains, so the phone charger could stretch into the bathroom.
I have to say, I've never done it.
But is it mere fortunate happenstance that I've haven't needed to?
I've never in my life thought of a mobile phone as a dangerous piece of electronic equipment.
There's no way I'd put it in the same league as holding a toaster or hair straighteners while being submerged in water.
Does social media play a part in this?
I've seen content creators post images of themselves in baths and jacuzzis with devices like phones and tablets, all the time.
Never once plugged into a power source, mind you, but it still normalises the action, does it not?
