HE'S heard his share of cheers on the pitch over the years and now Alan Shearer will be the name on many lips - literally - when they raise a glass to a new beer.

A Newcastle brewery has created an ale named after the Magpies legend and customers who buy it can enjoy the added pleasure of helping out a good cause.
Anarchy Brew Co in Benfield Road, Heaton, has made the new Shearer's Foundation Brew, which is described as a 4.2% 'refreshing pale ale that not only tastes good, it does good'.
Sales of the pint will be helping to raise funds for the Alan Shearer Foundation, the charity set up by the Newcastle United legend and football pundit in 2012.
