Rollaway car crashes and becomes lodged within scaffolding

POLICE officers were in Newcastle city centre on Tuesday afternoon, as a rollaway car crashed into scaffolding on Dean Street.

It was at around 3.30pm on December 9 that Northumbria Police and Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service were called to the area.
The incident took place outside Brew-Dog, with the road being closed for a short period of time until the scaffolding was made safe for pedestrians and drivers.
