Responsive Engineering announces redundancies
The Journal
|November 19, 2025
A NEWCASTLE-based engineering firm has announced a number of redundancies as part of restructuring efforts within the business.
-
Responsive Engineering at Armstrong Works on Scotwood Road has said the proposals have “not been taken lightly”.
It is understood that around 37 jobs are at risk, with a source saying the redundancies come following a “downturn in work”. Despite the risk of redundancies, the firm which was acquired by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd in 2022 confirmed that no key contracts have ended.
