PCC wants tougher action taken on drug drivers

THE Durham Police and Crime Commissioner has called for tougher drug driving laws, amid what she says is a “growing” issue.

PCC Joy Allen's call came after a Range Rover driver escaped prison time, despite being behind the wheel with both cocaine and ketamine in his system.

Jordan Todd, 26, of Cotsford Park Estate, Horden, in County Durham, was arrested on November 11 last year.
