Mariners fightback leaves boss Watson proud of 'incredible' boys

IAN Watson believes he learnt a lot about his South Shields players after the Mariners fought back from two down to earn a point in Saturday's home draw with Buxton.

Watson's men found themselves staring defeat in the face at halftime. A first-half brace from striker Tai Sodje appeared to have put the visitors on their way to all three points at the Ist Cloud Arena.

But Buxton were reduced to 10 men just before the hour-mark as Max Bardell saw red.
