A MAN in his 20s is in hospital with serious injuries after he was struck by a bus when crossing the road in Sunderland.

Shortly before 11pm on Friday night, police received reports of a collision involving the pedestrian and a bus on Suffolk Street at the junction with Ridley Terrace in Hendon. Emergency services attended
