Le Bris insists lessons have been learned after Leeds stalemate

REGIS Le Bris felt Sunderland learned valuable lessons after surrendering control in the 1-1 draw against Leeds United at the Stadium of Light.

The Black Cats had led through Simon Adingra's first-half goal after he opened the scoring from a brilliant threaded pass from Granit Xhaka. It marked Xhaka’s fifth assist of the season, with only Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes and Rayan Cherki recording more [seven] so far.

But missed chances came back to haunt Sunderland as Leeds burst out of the blocks after the restart.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin equalised on 47 minutes, netting his seventh topflight goal in his last six appearances.
