Hundreds of people queued for hours to take a look around HMS Northumberland when it returned to Tyneside in January 2024.

And now, they will be able to see the retired ship's bell and battle honours in their new home at County Hall in Morpeth.

The type 23 frigate of the Royal Navy, named after the Duke of Northumberland, was designed for antisubmarine warfare but was also used for security patrols, escort duties and anti-piracy missions.
