REGIS Le Bris underlined the statement of intent from Sunderland following the arrival of Granit Xhaka.

The head coach has relayed how the Swiss player’s high standards will give everyone confidence for the upcoming Premier League campaign.

After a trophy-laden spell with Bayern Leverkusen, Xhaka has signed a threeyear deal on Wearside, and becoming one of the biggest signings in the club's recent history.
