Final written warning for drunk and abusive PC

A POLICE officer who was abusive while drunk has been handed a final written warning.
-
PC Sheri Passant, of Northumbria Police, faced a misconduct hearing for her conduct.
She was trying to get a taxi on the Cloth Market in Newcastle city centre.
She was found to have been drunk, argumentative, agitated and abusive to a taxi driver and a taxi marshal, as well as to attending police officers, on March 2, 2024.
