NORTHERN LEAGUE DIV 1 PREVIEW
-
OLLY Hotchkiss has insisted Easington Colliery are ready to meet the increasing expectations placed upon them by an impressive first season back in the Northern League’s top tier.
Hotchkiss wasted little time in adding to his squad in an attempt to build on the momentum gained by last season’s Brooks Mileson Memorial League Cup final win against Shildon.
Liam Adamson, Jack Naylor and Ryan Lincoln-Barrow have all agreed to another stint with the Colliers and former South Shields and Whickham defender Dom Agnew and ex-Whitby Town and Stockton Town attacking midfielder Liam Cooke have also been snapped up.
Hotchkiss’ men will get an immediate test of their credentials when they host a Guisborough Town side many believe will be there or thereabouts at the top end of the table as new manager Nathan Haslam settles into life in charge of the Priorymen.
