Cars need a place to wait

NEWCASTLE Airport say there is free pick-up/drop-off parking for 15 minutes, but it is impossible to gauge when someone is going to arrive and reach the car park.

That is why so many people park offsite waiting for a phone call to advise them to drive in.

Last year I had five Canadian relatives arriving on different days and leaving on the same day, which necessitated two cars and three visits.
