Barnes' door is not closed on Scotland

HARVEY Barnes has refused to close the door on representing Scotland at international level amid claims that he could be given a sensational place on the plane to the 2026 World Cup.

Scotland produced an outrageous performance in their final qualifier to snatch a spot at the tournament next summer.

Goals from Scott McTominay, Laurence Shankland and injury-time stunners by Kieran Tierney and Kenny McLean saw them beat Denmark 4-2 at Hampden Park.

Barnes has long been mentioned as a potential wildcard for Steve Clarke's squad, but admits there have been no talks about switching his allegiances from England.
