Amber heat warning is issued

AN amber heat health warning has been issued for all regions in England, including the North East, as temperatures soar.

Much of the country has been seeing hot weather, with the mercury set to rise to 30C in the North East this weekend.
According to the Met Office, the region is predicted to see “very warm or hot” warmer both today and tomorrow. Newcastle is expected to see 30C temperatures on both days.
