Retired Maj. General Kithsiri Banadara Ekanayake, arrested by the Tangalle Police, along with four others, on a charge of treasure hunting, and produced before Tangalle Acting Magistrate Basura Madawela was yesterday (25) remanded till today (26).

Among the other four suspects is a retired soldier.
