Dr. Rajapakse holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine, University of Colombo, with advanced training in General and Interventional Cardiology at the Dorset Heart Centre, UK. A distinguished graduate of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ruhuna (MBBS, Upper Second Class with Distinction in Pediatrics, All-Island Rank 01), he is affiliated with prestigious professional bodies including the Royal College of Physicians (UK), European Heart Association, American College of Cardiology, and is a Fellow of the Society of Coronary Angiography and Intervention (USA).
