The ever-rising price increases of all commodities has laid a heavy burden on the ordinary consumer whose income doesn’t increase at the same rate.
Some unscrupulous traders and industrialists unsympathetically increase the prices of almost all types of essential commodities/goods as much as they wish at their own will. It seems that the concerned authorities like the price control department and the ministry of trade and commerce are unmindful of this situation and not engaged in any active programme to curb the situation. The cycle and trend of vicious increasing continues unabated daily, weekly or monthly but not annually. In the good old days, the price increase of a particular product was announced and done by the government through a gazette notification.
