CCTV cameras to be made mandatory in school vehicles soon

Transport Minister Bimal Ratnayake yesterday told Parliament that CCTV cameras would soon be compulsory in all school transport vehicles, as the government moves to tighten safety standards and curb rising harassment in public transport.
