The Court of Appeal yesterday (23) fixed December 8 to deliver its ruling on the petition challenging the removal of B.R.P.M.A. Devendra from his post as Minister at Sri Lanka’s Consulate General Office in Melbourne, Australia.

- By A.J.A ABEYNAYAKE

The court is to decide whether to declare the removal order null and void.

The date was set when a fundamental rights petition filed on behalf of Devendra was taken up before Justice Dr. Frank Gunawardena. The petition seeks a court order against the decision made by the Director General of the Human Resources Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
