AIA Insurance recently concluded the 30th edition of its flagship Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, AIA Poson Safety Programme, with resounding success.

This milestone year marked three decades of unwavering commitment to public safety. Held during the sacred Poson season, the programme was conducted across Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Dambulla, Mihintale, and surrounding regions. Over 500 trained lifeguards were deployed across the lakes and reservoirs, safeguarding thousands of pilgrims who gathered to observe this significant religious festival. Thanks to their vigilance and preparedness, the event concluded without any major incidents, reaffirming the programme’s reputation as one of Sri Lanka’s most impactful and enduring CSR initiatives.
