KEVIN TO SIGN FOR 14TH YEAR

New deal set for Vics record breaker

Irvine Victoria's record goalscorer is set to find the net for a 14th season after signing a new deal.

Kevin Adam has banged in a remarkable 192 goals during his two spells at Victoria Park and is looking to spearhead their attack as Ben Carson's side aim for a swift return to the West of Scotland Third Division.

Despite a string of fine results towards the latter stages of the campaign, Vics suffered relegation to the West of Scotland's bottom rung.

He'll be without fellow strikers Kyro Crawford and Alessandro Saverese, however, as the pair departed for Ardeer Thistle and Vale of Clyde respectively.

Steven Gaffney, who had a spell as joint caretaker boss alongside Adam prior to Carson's arrival, has signed a new deal.
