Plane carrying EU chief has radar 'jammed by Russia'

A plane on which European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen was travelling was hit by radar jamming over Bulgaria in a suspected Russian operation, a spokesperson has said.
The plane landed safely at Plovdiv International airport in the country’s south-central region yesterday. The incident was first reported by the Financial Times, which said that Ms Von der Leyen's plane had to circle the airport for an hour.
