EX-TOWN MAN JOSH SEALS DEAL WITH SHREWS
FORMER Town defender Josh Ruffels has signed for League Two side Shrewsbury after a 'strange summer.
Ruffels, who left the club upon the expiration of his contract, has been training with the PFA camp over the summer and has reunited with a former manager in Michael Appleton.
He joined Huddersfield as a free transfer in the summer of 2021 from Oxford United, featuring 80 times in all competitions, 22 of which were last season, scoring four times for them in the process.
Shrewsbury Town confirmed: “We are delighted to announce the signing of Josh Ruffels, subject to EFL approval.
“The 31-year-old has joined to reunite with boss Michael Appleton - with the duo having previously enjoyed success together at Oxford.
