FORCE SEEKS TO BAN PERPETRATOR
A KIRKLEES police officer has been found guilty of raping and sexually assaulting a woman.
West Yorkshire Police PC Benjamin Bottomley, 23, who is based in Kirklees district, carried out the rape before he became an officer and committed the sexual assault by penetration offence while he was a student officer.
Both offences were reported to the police after he joined West Yorkshire Police.
