BALKER DELIGHTED TO HELP TOWN RETURN TO WINNING WAYS

- By STEPHEN PAGE

HUDDERSFIELD Town defender Radinio Balker said he felt "really good" after helping his side to get back to winning ways in League One against Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.

The Terriers recorded a 3-1 victory against the Pilgrims at the Accu Stadium at the weekend. Bojan Radulovic gave the hosts the lead on the stroke of halftime, before strikes from Dion Charles and Cameron Ashia secured the points for Town, with Lorent Tolaj netting a late consolation for the visitors.

The result saw Town end a run of three straight defeats in League One, leaving Lee Grant's side tenth in the division, on 22 points from 14 matches played. Meanwhile, defeat saw Argyle drop to the foot of the table.

Balker made two appearances for the Terriers last week, the first time he has featured for the club this season. The centre-back played the full 90 minutes of the EFL Trophy victory against Mansfield Town, while the defender was substituted midway through the second half of Saturday's encounter.
