Dad raped teen while she was unconscious after getting her drunk

A SICK predator plied a teenage girl with booze before raping her while she was unconscious in his Elland flat.

Recorder Abdul Iqbal KC said Philip Walsh, 66, knew that the girl, who must not be identified for legal reasons, was extremely drunk when he put her in a taxi and took her back, along with his own 40-year-old daughter, to his flat in Brooksbank Gardens.

Bradford Crown Court heard on Thursday that the teenager had no recollection of going in the taxi and her next memory was waking up in the flat to find Walsh performing a sex act on her.

Prosecutor Abigail Langford told the court that when the teenager got home she was suffering with extreme soreness and attended hospital, where swabs were taken.
