Community united to celebrate Ramadan

Huddersfield's Ahmadiyya Muslim Association hosted a Community Iftar event to celebrate Ramadan and strengthen community bonds

HUDDERSFIELD’S Ahmadiyya Muslim Association hosted more than 150 guests to celebrate Ramadan.

The ‘Community Iftar for Peace’ event was held at the Hudawi community centre in Huddersfield on Saturday.

Iftar is the name of the meal eaten by Muslims at sunset to break their fast during Ramadan. The gathering brought together people from different faiths and backgrounds, along with civic dignitaries.
