'RC THOMAS' ON FCR STATION
-
PLYMOUTH writers are being given the chance to broadcast to the world via a new radio show fronted by the city's Laureate of Words.
Richard Thomas, also known as RC Thomas, started the Laureate of Words Show last month on Plymouth's FCR radio station.
The next show is on Thursday, November 27, from 6pm to 8pm, and a call has gone out to writers who want their work broadcast on air.
The theme this month is life writing, as it is national life writing month, and Richard said: "That can be any form of creative writing, published or unpublished - it just has to be autobiographical and under five minutes long."
Writers can send their audio submissions with a deadline of midnight on Monday, November 24.
Richard said: "If you don't have a microphone and recording software? Don't worry about it you can simply record your piece on your phone. As long as it's audible it's airable."
