School is praised for being 'caring and safe'

POSITIVE FEEDBACK FROM NEW OFSTED INSPECTION

PUPILS and staff at a Plymouth secondary school are celebrating after receiving positive feedback following its latest Ofsted inspection. The report praised St Boniface’s RC College for its warm, respectful and family-oriented school community, in which pupils are supported to thrive.

Rated ‘Good’ in behaviour and attitudes, personal development and leadership management, the school was also commended for its dedication to pupils’ wellbeing and supporting pupils.

Additionally, despite remaining ‘requires improvement’ for the quality of education, inspectors noted that the curriculum has undergone significant change and that “the warm and respectful relationships that exist between staff and pupils have provided a firm foundation for the school to make the necessary improvements”.
