CLEVERLEY'S MEN FACE TEN CRUCIAL LEAGUE GAMES IN JUST 44 DAYS
BOTTOM -OF-THEO-TABLE Plymouth Argyle will resume their League One campaign after a fortnight break with a trip to 22nd-placed Port Vale tomorrow.
Even at this still relatively early stage of the season, it is a match which both teams will be desperate not to lose and increase the pressure they are already under.
Argyle have not played a league game since November 8, when they lost 3-1 away to Huddersfield Town, because of international call-ups for Brendan Galloway, Conor Hazard and Law McCabe.
Vale, however, did play last weekend and Pilgrims' boss Tom Cleverley was among the crowd as the Staffordshire side drew 0-0 at home to Wycombe Wanderers to end a run of three successive league defeats.
Argyle's game against the Valiants tomorrow will be the first of 10 league fixtures in 44 days for them, up to and including the visit of Burton Albion to Home Park on Saturday, January 4.
How successful, or otherwise, the Pilgrims are over that run of matches - six of which will be at the Theatre of Greens will shape the rest of their season and whether they face a relegation fight or not over the final four months.
Here is a look at Argyle's 10 League One games to come in the next six weeks
