OSENI SET FOR ARGYLE

PILGRIMS HAVE A FEE ACCEPTED FOR ST MIRREN STRIKER

PLYMOUTH Argyle appear poised to start adding to the striker options in their squad after reports that a deal has been agreed for 22-year-old Owen Oseni from Scottish Premiership side St Mirren.

With Mustapha Bundu and Ryan Hardie both leaving Home Park this summer, the only out-and-out forward that new Pilgrims' boss Tom Cleverley has available to him is first-year professional Joe Hatch, so strengthening that area of the squad is a clear priority for the club.

The Scottish Sun reported that St Mirren had accepted a bid from Argyle for Oseni, who only joined the Paisley-based club in January from National League club Gateshead for a fee of £120,000. It was also stated the deal would see them 'net a significant profit for the Irishman' and that a sell-on clause was also included.
