TOM McKibbin stormed to victory in the Link Hong Kong Open this weekend, leaving the competition in his wake with a seven-stroke win.

The Northern Irish golfer pocketed a staggering $360,000 for his efforts and secured a place at next year’s Open Championship and the US Masters in Augusta due to his triumph.
McKibbin kicked off the weekend in style, opening his tournament with an impressive 60 that shattered the course record. He maintained this high level of play throughout the weekend to clinch his third professional title at the tender age of 22.
Despite excelling in the opening three rounds, the County Down native held the slenderest of leads heading into Sunday as he was just one shot clear of the chasing pack.
