I'm deeply ashamed to be an Argyle supporter
The Herald
|September 06, 2025
I AM deeply ashamed to be an Argyle supporter this season. A small but incredibly awful group of fans are bringing an egregious reputation to our much-loved Club.
The racist abuse in recent weeks of Brendan Wiredu and Bim Pepple has been utterly sickening.
There are many websites on which Argyle supporters are able to express their views on the performance of players, coaches and those responsible for running the Club.
I started taking an interest because there are many thoughtful, interesting and heartening statements from fans but now the comments to be found there depress me greatly.
