SURVEY SEES HISTORIC SUBURB ON TOP
A PLYMOUTH suburb is the city's happiest place to live, according to a new study. The study placed Devonport in top spot.
The area took first place thanks to its good transport links, local facilities, and outdoor spaces and parks.
Online store Furniturebox, who carried out the research to find the UK's 70 happiest spots, also pointed to popular pubs and "highly regarded" schools serving the area including Pilgrim Primary Academy, City College Plymouth and Devonport High School for Boys and its sister girls school.
