EXPENSIVE SIGNING HEADS TO QATAR IN SEASON-LONG LOAN
MICHAEL Baidoo is on the verge of a season-long loan move from Plymouth Argyle to Qatar Stars League side Umm Salal SC.
Umm Salal posted a 'Welcome Michael Baidoo' picture on their official Instagram account on Saturday) with the 26-year-old wearing one of their shirts, but Herald Sport understands that while a deal is close to being finalised all the paperwork has not been completed yet.
Baidoo still has three years remaining on the contract he signed for Argyle when he joined for a then club record transfer fee of around £1.5 million from Swedish side Elfsborg at the start this January.
