Arrest made after Union Street fire

ONE person has been arrested after a former Plymouth nightclub went up in flames on Saturday night. It is suspected the fire was started intentionally.

A senior police officer on the scene at the former C103 nightclub confirmed to The Herald that one person has been arrested on suspicion of arson. The person, who has not been named, was arrested at the scene and was taken to Charles Cross police station for questioning.
