The home side delivered a dominant performance, running in eight tries while keeping Albion scoreless in what was a statement victory at the top of the table.

From the opening whistle, Albion showed intent, winning early penalties and applying pressure on Richmond's defence. However, their inability to turn these opportunities into points proved costly.

Richmond absorbed the pressure and responded clinically, taking control of the match as the first half progressed. Their well-structured attack saw them cross the try line twice before the break, establishing a strong lead and putting Albion on the back foot.
