CLEVERLEY HAILS THE IMPACT OF EXPERIENCED MIDFIELDER
JOE Ralls scored his first goal in 833 days when he was on target in Plymouth Argyle's 1-0 League One win against Rotherham United at Home Park.
The experienced midfielder had not got a goal since he played in Cardiff City's 3-2 away Championship defeat against Ipswich Town on September 2, 2023.
Argyle have had five different managers/head coaches in that period - Steven Schumacher, now managing Bolton Wanderers, Ian Foster, Wayne Rooney, Miron Muslic, now head coach of German side Schalke, and current Pilgrims boss Tom Cleverley.
Ralls netted 32 times in a total of 384 league games for Cardiff so he does have a track record of scoring, and the hope will be that he can add a few more to his Argyle tally.
