SKUAST-K takes improved vegetable tech to remote tribal communities of Kupwara

The Division of Vegetable Science, Faculty of Horticulture, SKUAST-Kashmir on Friday organized a mega outreach Programme aimed at promoting vegetable cultivation and strengthening community-based seed systems in the tribal belts of district Kupwara.

The programme, as per the statement issued to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), was held at Hachmarg, Kalaroos Serkauli Mohalla and the Gujjar & Bakarwal Hostel, focusing on improved production techniques, quality seed distribution and sustainable farming models.
