ICR-ER team visits District Emergency Operation Centre, Srinagar

To assess the operational readiness and effectiveness of the District Emergency Operation Centre (DEOC) in managing disasters/emergency situations including natural disasters and other calamities, a team from Integrated Control Room for Emergency Response (ICR-ER), Ministry of Home Affairs Disaster Management Division, friday visited the District Emergency Operation Centre (DEOC) in Srinagar.

The team was comprised of Bharat Singh Rawat and Davinder Mishra accompanied by CEO/ERO/Nodal Officer of the State Emergency Operations Centre (SEOC), Chief Executive Officer of the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Srinagar, Aadil Fareed and Additional Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Mir Imtiyaz-ul-Aziz besides other concerned were present on the occasion. During the visit, the team had a detailed assessment of the facilities at the District Emergency Operation Centre Srinagar, instrumental in coordinating responses during critical incidents. Nota
