DC Budgam participates in 11th Muharram Procession at Magam

In observance of the 11th of Muharram, a solemn and peaceful procession was held monday at Magam in Budgam district. The event witnessed the participation of a large number of mourners from various parts of the Kashmir Valley, who gathered to pay homage and express their religious devotion.

The 11th Muharram procession commenced from Yagipora Imambara and proceeded through the main market of Magam, with the revered Zuljana Sharief being carried by mourners. The procession culminated late in the evening at Astanpora, maintaining the traditional route. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-ud-Din Bhat along with Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Budgam, Nikhil Borkar participated in the procession and interacted with the participants.
