Youth hub launched by fast food giant in town

THE KFC Youth Foundation has opened the doors to its first permanent youth hub in Middlesbrough.
With the capacity to support more than 3,000 young people across the town, the new Youth Hub will provide young people with an inclusive, safe space to learn, grow, meet friends and access support from youth workers.
And, to further celebrate the opening of the youth hub and support the work of the KFC Youth Foundation, two chicken-inspired charms have been created: a KFC chicken drumstick necklace and a KFC bucket necklace, with 20% of the profits going to the foundation.
The opening was marked by a community event attended by Andy McDonald MP for Middlesbrough and Thornaby East, Chris Guttridge from the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Cleveland, local mural artist and illustrator Bobzilla and students from The Northern School of Art.
