Woman's legacy lives on thanks to inspiring act
The Gazette

A GRANDMOTHER who died suddenly saved two lives after donating her organs.
Judith Webster was 63 when she died unexpectedly in 2019, leaving behind a husband, two daughters and four doting grandchildren.
However, the Stokesley woman's legacy lives on in the lives of two people, thanks to her decision to register as an organ donor while she worked as a proud radiographer at the James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.
On Christmas Eve in 2019, Judith’s husband received a letter from the recipients of her organs.
The family found out that Judith’s organs had saved the lives of two people — one who was waiting five years for a transplant and the other received a transplant after seven years.
