Whittaker now showing his real class, says Alan

ALAN Browne echoed Rob Edwards’ recent assertion that ‘top class’ Morgan Whittaker is now finally showing what they see every day in training.
After his early struggles at Middlesbrough, Whittaker now has two goals in as many games after scoring important goals in the victories over Ipswich Town and Sheffield Wednesday. It ended a 25-game wait for his first Boro goal, with the forward admitting the first against Ipswich last week was a weight off his shoulders.
One thing that many noted after that Ipswich goal was just how pleased all of his teammates looked for him in the moment. For Browne though, he admits to having a bit of guilt after that Riverside win, because he wasn't involved in such celebrations - and wasn't aware of the goalless run Whittaker had been on.
Speaking after the Sheffield Wednesday win, the midfielder on loan from Sunderland, told BBC Tees: “This will do him the world of good. I think you could see that tonight in how he played. He played out of his skin. He was the same on Friday night against Ipswich, he was top class. Not just his goals but his overall game.
“To be honest, I wasn’t really aware of his situation, so I felt a bit bad that I didn’t celebrate too much when he did score. I honestly didn’t know.
