Trump tramples on decency... again

DONALD Trump was handed a golden chance to do the bare minimum: honour a murdered ally, comfort a shattered widow, and show one flicker of decency.
Instead, he turned Conservative activist Charlie Kirk's memorial into a grotesque campaign rally - spewing bile, wallowing in self-pity, and trampling over grief like a man who's never learned the meaning of shame. It was stomach churning to watch.
"Charlie did not hate his opponents. He wanted the best for them," he began. Then came the kicker: "That's where I disagreed with Charlie. I hate my opponents, and I don't want the best for them. I'm sorry. I am sorry, Erika."
The crowd froze. Some gasped. The widow had just called for mercy. Trump answered with malice. But he wasn't finished.
With the sensitivity of a sledgehammer, he claimed: "Charlie's angry... he's angry at me."
