Trial date set for murder accused

A MAN accused of murder has appeared at court after the body of a 23-year-old was found in a North East home.

Emergency services were called to an address on Allerton Close in Hartlepool on Sunday.

Paramedics and police say they attended the address shortly before 11am on November 23 and found the body of Mohammed Shaan Ali Rasul, who was also known as Shaan, inside the property.

Callum Howe, 22, was arrested in connection with the alleged incident and later charged with murder.
