Ruud calls for chance to take Foxes forward
The Gazette
|April 19, 2025
LEICESTER boss Ruud van Nistelrooy insists he knows what is necessary to take the club forward as he awaits talks with the hierarchy over his future as manager.
-
The Foxes will be relegated to the Championship this weekend if they fail to beat champions elect Liverpool or if Wolves and West Ham beat Manchester United and Southampton respectively.
The Foxes have endured a torrid time in the top flight and have taken just four points from their last 17 games to leave them 17 points adrift in the bottom three.
Much speculation has been made whether Van Nistelrooy, who took charge in November, will still be in the hotseat next season and the Dutchman said he is waiting for conversations with the board to take place.
"I know what I want my future to look like," the former Manchester United striker told a press conference.
